Combines traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, or photography with AI-generated elements

AI in Photography
Real photographs enhanced or transformed using AI editing, style transfer, or background generation
Focus on artistic vision and ethical use of AI tools
Writing & Storytelling
Craft compelling narratives to captivate and inspire audiences.
Judging: Originality, clarity, organization, thoughtful use of AI
AI-Assisted Short Story or Poem
Students use AI tools to draft, co-write, or refine a creative writing piece.
AI Journalism and Research
Students write a short feature article on how AI impacts education, art, work, or local communities


Judging: Originality, musicality, production quality
AI Generated Song or Soundtrack
Create an original music track using AI tools
Recommended length: 90 to 120 seconds
AI Voiceover or Podcast Snippet
A 2-to-3-minute podcast segment or narrative that uses AI voice tools
Can focus on storytelling, interview-style content, or an educational topic
Please Remember: Your work should be creative and respectful. Do not include harmful content, political, profanity, sexual material, or messages that target or insult others, or your work could be disqualified.
This is for the participating high school students. Only local participating high school students can provide their submissions to their school AI Fest point of contact.


Video
Judging: Storytelling, visual impact, editing quality, integration of AI elements
AI Short Film or Animation
A short video, up to 3 minutes, which uses AI-generated visuals, scripts, or effects
Team entries encouraged


Innovation & Practical Impact
Judging: Creativity, real-world usefulness, problem-solving impact, thoughtful use of AI
AI for Good: Problem-Solving Challenge
Students propose or prototype an AI-based solution to a local or campus issue, such as scheduling support, tutoring assistance,
Entries may include a mockup, pitch, concept poster, AI built app, etc.
AI in Design and Marketing
Create an AI-driven campaign that may include posters, slogans, social media graphics, or short video concepts to promote a real or imaginary cause, product, or event.
Future Tools Showcase
Demonstrate an emerging AI tool and highlight how it could transform a specific field such as education, health, business, or the arts
Entries may include live demonstrations, screenshots, poster-style presentations, etc.
Music & Audio
Each category winner will receive a $200 gift card.
